AANA (MAST) Annual Meeting Scholarship 

As part of our new MAST initiative, military orthopedic residents and staff surgeons are invited to apply to attend the AANA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, May 8-10, 2024. MAST funding will support travel, lodging, and registration for six military orthopedic residents and surgeons to attend the meeting. Applications will be accepted through February 28, 2025 through the SOMOS website.  Awardees will be announced in March, 2025.  Applications should include a CV and a personal statement about their career interest in arthroscopy and sports medicine.

Requirements:

• Ideal applicants are orthopaedic residents with a career interest in arthroscopy
• Staff physicians and/or active SOMOS members will be considered as well
• Funding will support expenses to attend the AANA 2025 Annual Meeting
