MAST Subspecialty Advanced Training Program
The MAST Program will fund four trainees to attend an AANA OLC course. This course is a two day in-depth arthroscopy sub-specialty focused training program. This course provides a hands-on skills training for surgeon trainees to improve their arthroscopic knowledge, competence, performance and patient outcomes. This training program offers the opportunity to gain experience in advanced orthopedic surgical procedures. Applications will be offered to all SOMOS members such as senior residents and staff, but preference will go to junior staff physicians. Ideal candidates for this program will be subspecialty trained or will seek to develop subspecialty training in an applicable area. Trainees will be selected by MAST administration based on order of merit.
