Research Opportunity
We have a Department wide IRB approved Musculoskeletal Biorepository for Gene and Protein Discovery in the Synovial Microenvironment and Intervertebral Disc Space and Facet Joints of the Spine. This institutional protocol is in collaboration with the MIRROR organization and provides an opportunity for bench to bedside research discovery in genomics and proteomics (biomarker development).

Research Requirements
One IRB approved project during residency with one peer reviewed publication. However, residents far and away surpass these requirements and often produce multiple publications and presentations throughout their residency.
